 If I was suspended awkwardly high in the air on that 'structure' with non-flying wings, and had narrow symbols poking into my belly and crotch, I too would look concerned. xD 
But yeah, it does seem to be a common Rusk expression... Is it due to depression, or the discriminaction, or are there other factors at play? 
I like his pose, and the wings being half mantled shows them off nicely. Makes me wonder again why/how Sparkclaws ended up with small wings through evolution (I assume), although it's probably useless to ask you, hehe.
It would make a nice 'badge' if, say, you were going to a convention, except for Rusk not being your sona.
